Working for T gives a great paycheck but it came with a lot of uncertainty and anxiety, with constant office location changes and fear of job loss if you are not a good performer. You never know where to stay as it affects your commute by miles and miles and if it will long last. Making life decisions is super hard and there isn’t any peace, progress or happiness in life.

Please stop complaining; go find a different job.
Just know if you go to a smaller shop where you can work from home you better really be prepared to work ‘cause you can’t hide under your desk like George Costanza for 20 years like a lot of people at AT&T do and collect a paycheck. You’re gonna be expected to work your butt off.

I’m gonna sell my butthole on Aurora Avenue for $12 bucks an hour. Definitely more fun than this.
This is exactly how they want you to feel so that you choose to leave. Sad but true.
Man, that sounds rough. No job is worth that kind of constant stress and uncertainty. A lot of people have walked away from corporate life and found real happiness doing things they love—teaching people to ski in the mountains, guiding fly-fishing trips, or even starting their own thing. Life’s too short to spend it feeling anxious all the time. If T isn’t giving you peace, maybe it’s time to find something that does.
