Best thing for Western Canada is to become the 51st state. Manitoba and East can figure out where they are getting there next few money on their own.

Bonuses are only good if you kids your bosses a-s. I'm not an a-s just, but a truth teller. Senior management only like rainbows and butterflies.

That's the funny thing with Cenovus, performance is always bad and bonuses are always good.

“ The political rant on this thread is nonsensical!” I totally agree. It doesn’t matter the left wingers are totally wrong. They have no idea what they are doing and are not fit to govern. As our next prime minister has repeatedly stated over and over “Canada is broken”. It truly is. I don’t really understand why the rest of Canada is trying to downplay Pierre Polievere. Only a Pierre Polievere government has what it takes to deal with the potential Trump tariffs if they materialize or not. Only a strong conservative government has what it takes to unify the rest of the country both in terms of experience and practical terms. Who has more political experience? Polievere has more experience with dealing with issues in parliament or anywhere else for that matter. Who has real work experience and doesn’t run to another country for a job (Carney did - he went to another country for work). Who has real education and believes in the Canadian education system including universities - Poilievre does. He is well educated and trained. Who would you really trust our economic future with anyways ? Someone like Carney or someone who has stayed the course? Who is able to deal with issues in both official languages in Canada? Polievere is fully bilingual and can deal with these issues.

Pierre Polievere was not born into privilege at all. He was born to a single mother (father unknown), as much as his mum loved him she gave him up for adoption. Both his adopted parents were average working parents here from Alberta. Carney was born and raised into privilege.

For the future of Alberta and Canada we need someone who is more educated and experienced with dealing with global and domestic issues. It’s not just Trump. Why do the lefties think it’s just Trump?

Seriously who would you trust? Someone like carney who is an outsider? Or would you trust someone who is really educated, qualified and has the experience to deal with these issues.

I put a challenge to the lefties make a list of the education, qualifications, experience, language spoken, experience in dealing with local, national and international issues. List all the positive accomplishments of both. You will see Polievere comes ahead. Conservatives chose their leader wisely and thoughtfully we don’t have parachute leaders come in.

This is huff from lefties even if they are from Alberta. It’s wishful thinking that any liberal government can do better than a Polievere/Conservative government.

@ac+1jmkffm36, the comments are partly true we in Alberta will ONLY elect a conservative government no matter what. Polievere is on record as saying “Canada is broken” and is a huge Trump supporter. Daniel Smith is also a supporter she is already dismantling our healthcare in order to prepare us for integration into the USA system including privatization and the reduction of services.

I have heard about the USA wanting 60% of our non renewable energy resources in exchange for dropping tariffs in this sector. This is similar to the demand he has placed on Ukraine for its resources.

From my peers at other companies we will likely see our support jobs move to the USA. These include office jobs from logistics, operations, Human Resources, technology, finance to name a few. We might be able to keep our jobs if we are willing to get a TN visa or a green card. These jobs will most likely move to red states as part of a larger plan of the administration.

We are happy that we have a job.
Cuts are coming. Other oil and gas companies are preparing for jobs at least office jobs to move stateside. This should worry us. We may need a TN visa and move state side.

Daniel Smith and Pierre Polievere who id on record as saying Canada is broken would love this. Governor Pierre would be first in line to pledge alliance to Trump. This will occur we will lose jobs to south of the 49th. We will always elect conservative here in Alberta so this will occur. A Prime Minister Polievere will sign an unconditional takeover by the USA. Daniel Smith is already starting the process by messing with our healthcare so this is real.
