Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

I just quit and left everyone hanging

They said how could you do something like that, you have to finish up things, people don't know what you do, you will tarnish your reputation. Nahhh I am good here's my notice and I am checking out now. Adios Muchachos and Muchachas. When you bank it for 25+ years in a bill market you have FU money at the end of the day. All you had to do was ignore my coffee badging but catty cathies complained I wasn't visible enough. Portfolios still going strong sukkas!!!

Unless you've signed a contract, employment at-will cuts both ways.

Congrats! I won’t be giving notice either. I got my references already, so I don’t care about burning bridges at this sh---y company. Fu-k AT&T

The new broken presence report will be used to fire anybody who doesn't show as 8 in office. Ot gives no credit for holidays, vacation or care giver leave

Good for you OP. There is a report that was sent to supervisors only (AD) and confirmed 2 things..
Badge swipe for your days count
LAN connection for your 40hrs/week

No flexibility at all.

I have my own rules, this is he-l and i cannot wait for the next layoff

I hope RTO backfires in the most epic way and productivity plummets along with the financials.

This is already happening. Productivity is way down due to reduced hours to 8 in office only, and financials won’t improve because there’s no innovation, no goals, nothing. Just RTO.

Wait until you see how long the next outage lasts. Nobody gives a sh-t what happens after their 8 hour timer goes off anymore.

The new culture stank has fostered is “8 and skate” and there’s nothing he can do to fix it without RTO rollback which his ego could never handle.

And be sure to tell them “it’s just business” on your way out the door. When the shoe is on the other foot, that is their go-to statement. You reap what you sow Stank!

I hope more follow suit. Teach T we can do what they do to us and see if they like it.

And those DEI hires can lie straight to you with a straight face even though you know that they are wrong.

Every boss wants all their employees to be leaders. We don’t ALL want to be leaders but just to do our job.

This is the AT&T way. Good for you. They didn’t give a sh-t about you, so why give a sh-t about them.

Notice. Why give anything. Just stop working and see how long you get paid.

“Yes the Diva DEI Princesses love the stage and spotlight. Just ask them a few business questions and the word salads will flow.”

I’t as laughable as it is embarrassing. Fresh from school and not a lick of business knowledge. Never worked a real job that required grit and real presence to actually know your sh-t.
