Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

RTO su-ks

Nobody likes it, it’s not an industry standard or any kind of standard. 70% of companies still operate as hybrid. Anyone who says otherwise is just a lying troll.

RTO is the sign of a financially doomed company.

“Nobody is full RTO besides a handful. Most are 3 days max.”
Wrong. This is a lie. Cool story though.

If the company is doomed, you should be eager to leave, job or no job on the horizon.

At&t is hybrid/virtual also...just not the majority employees. But make no mistake--there are many that don't have to come in...just not in your org. There are also % of employees that haven't been asked to move to a hub yet so don't have to RTO. Now there will come a time I am sure when they will have to move or leave company but not anytime soon.

So at&t is part of the 70% you talk about.

Nobody is full RTO besides a handful. Most are 3 days max.

With a few exceptions Chad Towne's entire org has been 5 days since mid 2023.

It’s an industry, common workplace and presidential standard.

Grow up people. I don’t like it but I am not the CEO. Most companies are going full time RTO.
