The article shared above is dated 10. April 2024. So I’m assuming this already happened. Not saying more won’t come, but the article itself isn’t current.
Sorry to read that yet more jobs will be gone in Europe and the head cutting continues. But of course, many jobs will be moving to Alvind's home country, India. Promises to keep to Modi, of course.
After all, it is clearly stated in the article that IBM is "cutting some projects or moving them to cheaper countries". Which country is cheaper than Alvinds's home country, eh ?
Best thing to do is boycott IBM products and avoid them like the plague since they are not top of the line any more. After all, when you hit IBM executives in the pocketbook, and they cannot make their profit numbers, they will be called into one-one meetings and let go too. It's a vicious circle, but that is what capitalism is about. Right, Alvind ?? All good (and bad) things come to an end. Even IBM.
But the dividend better not get touched.
