Org leaders are being told to hit their headcount reduction by middle of this year...10% is the number being pushed. I'm sure they're hoping the RTO/Presence tracking will play a role in hitting the goal.

Relax. Many of you will be leaving. It's all in the mind. Accept that you are solely responsible for your dilemma and it will be easier at your departure time.
Good grief! If they need to get rid of more people, why don’t they just ask who wants to be laid off? I bet they could get 10% to sign up before the end of the day.
All these lawyers with side gig twisting wires. LMAO.
I'm ready and willing to leave, just give me the notice along with the severance check and I'll leave with a huge smile ear-to-ear!
No surprise. Middle of year is when they are supposed to hit that 2.5 debt ratio that was promised to Wall Street.
If so, then the "bloodbaths" will be picking up right where they left off before the RTO distraction. That was generally the "bloodbath" number every single time -- 10%
I’m really curious what the 3/15 craft layoff announcement looks like. I expected a much bigger layoff 1st quarter than there was.
If they don't start cutting craft, they're going to end up with a bunch of union, a handful of middle, and a lot of upper management. Craft is already ~50% of domestic work force.
My guess is they will gut sales by making everyone contractors instead of employees, and closing a majority of call centers and sending them offshore. Can absolutely get that 10% or more with those two moves.
No. I cannot go to Middletown. No, no, no. They think because it’s the same state it’s a seamless move of offices. That place is like 3 hours away. Bedminster better not be closing. WTF!!! What is going on.
We already submitted our rankings. Think I’m going to lose 2-3.
“Bedminster closing in August, shhhhh”
Welcome to Middletown
My org is hiring! Guess we must be impotent
Already had our first meeting to discuss.
Bedminster closing in August, shhhhh
I will welcome it with open arms. However, if they want to fire me for a broken presence report as the reason, well, see you in court. Want to treat me hourly, I’ve got a lot of OT owed if that’s the case.
It will be more than 10%. Look at the market and what is going on. Recession is coming and on top of RTO there will be additional force reductions. It starts with federal employees and soon will reach the private sector.
Good luck using the broken presence report to enforce headcount reduction. Smells like a lawsuit.
They pulled forward a lot of layoffs into last year. Was supposedly to get to their 2028 headcount levels by end of 2024. So, the chops keep coming.
Only 10%?
