No absolutely not. I was looking forward to it but had some grumpy old a--hole reprimand me for missing our Teams meeting - I had to point out that he never sent a link and Id asked 3 times. smh. Then he was just cold and didnt tell me anything I didnt already know. Waste.

I tried it and had great hope for it, but it ended up being a gross waste of my time.
I asked for resume help and they obviously had an offshore person work on it. What they sent back was a complete joke. They basically took descriptions I had and threw in random periods, creating run-on, nonsensical sentences. The contact I had assigned seemed to be OOO more often than not, ignored email questions I had. I finally gave up.
It feels its just a b.s. "fluff" to make displaced people less cr-ppy.

Hey LHH employees, instead of just trolling the thread with your useless service promotion, why don't you provide us with some proof that displaced employees used your service and actually got their new job? We are tired of your commercials. Show us the proof!

Using keywords IS part of the format, so you comment makes zero sense. Keywords for better ATS import.

In light of your first comment, there is no point in taking the rest of your comments as anything meaningful.

LHH actually means "Lick HooHaa". I consider myself a LHH Master Craftsman.

I personally do not know anyone who has found a new job after using the LHH service. We cannot trust LHH until we see the proof that it actually works.

@nh+1jn1m0h1g, how have they been helpful to you? Did they actually help you get a new job? If you have not found a new job yet, they are not really helping you. At the end of the day, it's all about results. If they can't produce results, they are useless. I went to the LHH introductory meeting out of curiosity, then found out that some of the LHH staff members have been looking for a new job for many months and still have not found one yet.

I found LHH helpful. It does depend a lot on the “mentor” they pair you with, but you can request a new mentor if you really don’t get along with the first one they give you. It was nice to have someone to bounce ideas off of, give advice on resume and Linked-In profile, explore potential career paths, etc. You have to be willing to put in the work, but I found the resources helpful.

@g4+1jn1m0h1g LHH might have upgraded their resume service to use CHATGPT's format. The format doesn't matter -- it is the keyword generation that does. Also, I have tested and found that Grok does the "best" generation when using AI chatbots, followed by Meta, then Gemini, and finally ChatGPT. This changes monthly.

Has anyone on this board succeeded in landing a new job by using the LHH specific guidance and methodology? So far, I have heard none.

Not to point out the obvious, but you are the person who saw a subject like with LHH and chose to come into this post. Now, just how intelligent is it to now complain about having come into the post?

Odd. LHH's format is the format recommended by CHAT GPT as well as 4-5 different resume advice sites I've visited, including Harvard University. And it is considered ATS friendly, which is the advanced way to do things today. Just this week alone I've round 7 companies that welcome resumes for input into their (system) for future reference on their end. This is done with ATS software.

On the resume, should we put the skillset section before or after the job experience section? Will that make a big difference?

@d0 LHH is old school. The way you seemed to have follow LHH blindly. Interviewers out there are looking for someone more creative. In tech employment, the "Musk effect" is happening. Servant leadership, using AI, thinking outside the box. Network and learn. If you are a BEC join the local IIBA, find classes, and learn how to be a "real" business analyst. In the double-digit of years I was at Wells I did not see or interact with a single true business analyst in the double-digit of systems I built, migrated, and/or enhanced. Overpaid bullies manage tech at Wells which is 15-20 years behind.

At first, LHH's expert coaching, informational resources, approach method, all looked very impressive. I have followed all of their instructions, recommendations and did whatever they told me to. But 9 months later, it has not produced any results for me. I still cannot get a single interview. LHH's approach does not work at all. What a big waste of time.

I applied to more than 30 open positions with the LHH provided resume template, but I never got any interviews. So I Googled other resume guidance websites and I completely redid my resume. What do you know, I started getting interview requests. This proves that LHH is totally uselss and their recommendations even prevent you from getting interviews. Do not blindly take LHH's advices, but trust your gut instincts and look around other resources as well.

OP, instead of posting a new thread, all you have to do is to go back a couple of weeks to find hundreds of LHH threads on this board. All the answers you are looking for are already there. Have you heard of FAQs?

Helpful....but don't answer the question about where you are working. Keep your private life away from WF.

If you are in tech you are better off with having AI (I like Grok AI) to coach you. google "ai career coach". I hear that the new Alexa AI will have a career coach that will pre Interview you. You give AI your current resume, your skills list, your task list (things you did), the job specs you found. Have it write a cover letter, interview questions, interview follow-up letter. Have AI analyze your SWOT in the field that you are in or a new field you may want to be in. The AI will design the resume to get you thru ATS (application tracking systems) since AI is writing them. Also for those managers out there I recommend that you have AI scan your resume to remove any "management bullying" that you may have inadvertently added to your resume.

OP, why don't you read the existing LHH threads that have been already posted before? There are literally thousands of them. People should stop asking the same questions.

There have been hundreds of LHH questions on this board. I am getting sick and tired of the same questions over and over. OP should go back to the old threads and read the answers!

Very helpful. Help to get resume into 'contemporary' format. Info to polish your LinkedIn profile to what attracts employers. LHH itself has job postings they have sourced, in addition to outside postings they pull into their tool. Etc., etc., etc....
