Took the plunge and took the package today after much soul searching. I want my termination to be on my terms with at least a little bit of money in the bank as I job search. Make no mistake, there will be layoffs still after this. I pray for you all as you go through this! Just terrible.

I have an hour or so to make a decision, and I think I’m taking it. This little cushion will help will I peruse a side business and while I look for a new job. I am very comfortable in my job role but honestly I’m burnt out and never want to come to work because I’m just mentally exhausted.

I’m taking it. I’m in a position in my life that I can, Thank God, AND I can’t afford to get caught off guard later down the road financially.

It is an extremely sad and difficult time for thousands of us right now. I do hope that by me accepting the offer, will allow for a fellow coworker that can’t accept it, be able to keep their job. 🙏🏻

I just wish someone would leak info on if they are close to their quota or not.

What do you mean by provider relations?

I took it. The rumors about reductions in contracting and provider relations were out there before the VRSP announcements. I feel bad because of the relationships I have developed and I don’t know how the work will be redistributed but I need to take care of me. The writing is on the wall.

I’m taking it. I’m ready to retire.

Applied first day it opened to sign up. I had already been talking to spouse about going part time and switching my schedule so I can have more time with our kids and actually feel like I’m doing my job as a parent. The work life balance just wasn’t there anymore. Working 10hrs a day, by the time I get out my kids are already in bed for school the next day. Then weekends come along and are off but with so much running around and trying to destress from the crazy work week just wasn’t giving that balance.

While I myself cannot afford to take the VRSP with my current situation I know of one coworker who is. They were planning to retire in August anyway so they’re taking the VRSP to retire a little earlier than planned.

I applied for it. The circumstances in my life are "just so" that it feels like the right move for me. I no longer want to work from home (big factor). I'm in a good financial position with 0 debt. I got weird vibes from how it was presented at the first meeting. I very much appreciate the option to do this but the writing is on the wall for me. I feel my higher self is telling me it's time to part ways and I see this as an opportunity. Most people probably won't be in my position though.
