Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Cost center for lay off’s

What’s the new way to search the cost center for lay off’s? 2024 Cost Center 0180508. There’s only 3 pages. I know there are way more lay off’s then 3 pages. 2025 Cost Center 0229340. But when you search on it nobody displays. So where is WF hiding their key off #’.

Yes, that is indeed a cost center. But nowhere does it say who it's for.

So, no source then. We'll just have to take your word for it.

One of my teammates was let go last year as well as other people in our area and they all landed in that cost center. When their severance was over, they no longer showed up anywhere. They put them in a different cost center for reporting purposes. If you search in teamworks, in the people box, open the drop down and then select cost center then type it in. It’s not rocket science. Just ask anyone in finance/cost allocations.

You can search in teamworks by cost center. The cost center from last year was accurate. However, they won’t show up there until their severance kicks in. So, 45-60 days later. All layoffs, regardless of reason (reduction in force or workforce location strategy) will hit that cost center. An employee doesn’t get deleted from teamworks until their severance runs out. That’s why they are assigned a different cost center in the first place.

There are other tools where you can see the people in the new cost center for people on the 60 day notice period. The displacements may be on Tuesdays, but the people show up in the cost center via those tools on Thursday mornings.

They aren't hiring someone just for that purpose, they'd be existing lackies. HY doesn't want accurate information out there, they want people to be confused/scared, because those types are the ones spending their entire day on indeed and will eventually leave in their own.

There was a pause during COVID, but outside of that WF has downsized the equivalent of every single current employee in NC, CA, TX, AZ, IA, and MO in a decade. When they are done, we'll all be gone. Prepare accordingly. Sharts dream is to sit in his Ivory Tower while a few data centers and a few tens of thousands of people in I&P make him his millions. We'll be working elsewhere, or be retired.

Just wait for the quarterly earnings and hear the updated headcount like the rest of us

lol so the conspiracy is now that the bank both freely has layoff data available to anyone and also hires people to deny it...when they actually want people to be demoralized and leave in the first place. This site must link from infowars or something

Those numbers always conflated a zillion other employee departure reasons, you couldn't draw any conclusion from them anyway.

Not sure how that rumor got started on here, but the trolls are always trying to misrepresent things to cause the most panic, hth

It never showed what people on here claimed. Just pull the number out of your a-s like them.

Serious question: can anyone at the bank pull up any cost center and see what/who is in it?
