Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

The only reason I endure is the lack of options

The job market is so bad, and given the trajectory, it’s only going to get worse. We’re all completely cornered now, which will only add more pressure to keep our jobs. Get ready for more overtime, more passive-aggressive treatment from management, worse working conditions, and all those power and control moves that come when we have even fewer options than usual.

I take it you were in a coma from 2016-2020. The economy was actually going great until the CCP and the DNC decided conspire to kick off a coup-genocide.

The Trumpression hasn't even kicked in yet. Inflation will skyrocket. Layoffs will skyrocket. The clown show in the administration will do the stupidest thing imaginable like try to move the U.S. debt to crypto. You'll be fighting with 50 other middle agers for a job at McDonald's.

The job market is going to get worse - and prices are going to skyrocket, especially for food. Its time to eliminate all nonessential spending, and hang on to what you have.

You are right that the job market is going to get much worse. Everyone seems to be laying off- even the government. May make sense to optimize what you have right now and plan for when the prospects get better so you can leave. Good luck

Well, if there aren't any jobs, I would think CUs would fall into that camp as well.

You work for a Giant bank. WTH do you expect? Go get a job at the local credit union so you can like your boss and make significantly less money.
