If I give two weeks notice

What are the chances I'll be fired right then and there? Should I even bother?

I gave 2 weeks notice and they put me on garden leave same day since I was going to B of A.

Take 2 to 3 weeks PTO to try the new job first. My friend went from the frying pan to the fire in her new job. She regretted.

When you give your notice tell them you are going to work for Bank of America in four weeks. Enjoy the paid time off.

They let you work your 2 weeks notice unless your next job presents a conflict of interest or insider threat - especially if you are going to a direct competitor. Your 2 weeks are meant to be working days, so use up any PTO you want to burn before you give notice, not after.

Either way in 2 weeks you'll be happier. Troll.

You could be asked to leave immediately, but still paid for your two weeks. Depends on what you do and where you're going.

give notice only after you start your new job - that lets you make sure it is what was promised

The chances are you're trying to bury the fact that the Fed is predicting a recession under Trump by spamming the same questions that get spammed every week and could easily be found by using the search box.
