I was laid off last year and was lucky to find something but I know ppl who are still out of work. No one is hiring now if anything other companies are also laying off. I miss WF everyday. Our pay, our benefits and PTO was more generous than you realize. Don’t wish for a layoff please! You may regret it!

If you're an American and getting a decent pay you're going to be on the chopping block. there is a big corporate push from senior managers to get rid of the highly paid Americans and replaced them with Indian workers at those levels and only hire Americans for low pay analyst work that are easily offloadable to other teams or AI bots.
If you're a person who has morals and ethics and a level of professionalism then you should not be working here Wells Fargo is a toxic environment where it's a dog eat dog market in the people who have been working here for over 10 years are either looking for a way out or they are so irrelevant to the corporate world that they can't go anywhere else so they will do everything they can to stay which means they're throwing other employees underneath the bus lying doing office drama situations and more.
Nobody likes being laid off and especially those who put in a lot of time here if Wells Fargo lays you off then you're going to realize that you've never mattered... If you haven't started looking look now leave on your own terms and do what's best for your mental health because Wells Fargo is getting rid of The Americans in only looking to hire them for low-paying jobs
