Spot on. People kiss a$$ in hopes it’ll keep them off the chopping block. I predict that one day Chuck and the other overpaid worthless wimps will get a pie in his face a la the old Occupy Wall St protests. None of our “leaders” lead. They just cash checks and ruin the company. The fact the asset cap still exists is reason enough to fire them all.

Whether it's town halls or emails from the top doesn't matter, employees have rejected the executives message because their policy decisions suck and it's obvious that they suck. They have consistently dehumanized/demeaned the work force, made changes to compensation that no one likes, involved themselves in personal medical decisions when they have no place doing so, have made mass layoffs a never-ending cycle of fear, centralized to the point that nothing gets done because centralized teams don't give a damn about you or your group, shipped a lot of jobs off to India with very questionable results, embraced identity politics and institutionalized racism, and the cherry on top, RTO, which is an epic fail that this executive team will never recover from. Other have eliminating that policy, there's nothing the NYC crowd can to to recover at this point. Most employees have tuned them out and are done with their nonsense. Doesn't mean the very self motivated types aren't doing their jobs, but the NYC guys have "lost the locker room" as they say in sports, and you don't get it back until you fire the coach.

Pretty sure that actual tribalism would violate a few corporate policies, laws, and treaties. Not sure what they really want, but I am sure they don't know what happens in tribalism.

Anyway, still don't care what they have to say. FRTO.

So "We are a team" is offensive but "We're a tribe" is cool. Thanks for clarifying today.

W T F is that even supposed to mean?

Just don’t show up to send the message that these live townhalls are not helping improve employee satisfaction… No show… no clapping. Simple.

Scharf despises the WF cult unless the cult is made up of Scharf sycophants. Casper is a hypocrite.

They are making the rounds traveling. Why. Do they think that will boost morale. Is this in response to the team survey that used to have transparent results? I’ve never heard so many snarky comments out loud at the table of strangers that i was seated with. We are past the point of town halls helping.

I wish I was there to see that. I wonder if it made YouTube?

I remember when Stumpf showed up for a town hall in Des Moines just prior to when the SHTF. The audience politely clapped when he was introduced but one ding do-g immediately lept to the feet and started clapping furiously.

After about 5 seconds he looked around and saw he was the only one out of ~2,500 standing up. He sheepishly stopped with the clapping and sat down.

Best laugh I had all week.

There will always be the 20 percent. 80 percent get it.

Would love to see a townhall where the executive didn't once get applause. Maybe then they'd finally understand just how loathed they are.

People clap because they somehow believe it will insulate them from being laid off or passed over for a promotion. They are weak minded. If the “algorithm” has selected, you are severed. There have been people laid off in the last 12 years who many, many believed were untouchable. So many wrong…

Haven't noticed, I stopped listening to the execs after a string of decisions with extremely poor and short-sighted justifications. MFRTO.
