Haha. 42 acting all high and mighty again with his very average career and average pay. Dude, you can’t act like you were some highroller anymore Now that you divulged your real information two weeks ago… You’ve been unmasked. We know who you are and you should be embarrassed after all the big talk.

And why the heck would any putty post so many back-to-back posts on the same thread… Get a hobby… I’m sure you don’t have any friends to hang with based on how you act but get a hobby

Serious question, do you have someone making sure you get your meds and elderly mental decline treated? You spend a lot of time here throwing your messy diapers around. It is sad to watch. Get help old boy. Medicare and state assistance are friends to transient people like you.

So jealous, such envy, so little work ethic. I’m embarrassed to have been associated with this bank.

You are all over the map. Take a chill pill and relax. You might want work through the people of whom you’re envious and learn how they rose. Likely you’ll learn something.

Do not look to the roots of your rivers and your Rishis.

This is a powerful concept from our India workers and one which you would do well to study and emulate.

You are consumed by envy and rage. Why not emulate the leaders whom you envy? Ask them for career advice and build relationships. In my experience leaders love to share advice. I had wonderful long rambling conversations with Frank Cahouet and learned a great deal from him. We shared the same sense of humor as well as a similar world view and sense of humor. I also knew Marty McGuinn and liked him quite a bit as well.

I predict that you will live a life of envy which will destroy your career as well as your happiness. Try to live within your means and work harder with a positive attitude.

I’m rooting for you. Please let us know how it goes for you.

What a ridiculous and moro-nic post you just pushed out of your but-tocks that is sitting on your shoulders there. Clerical to compare? No! These are ground level Managers and leaders you nit. And leadership? Where, how, what, when? Wealth mgmt is underperforming and losing clients. So much for leadership. And smarty pants, when the company’s own stock dividend is paying holders and investors a 2.1% yield but these leadership roles are getting bonuses 10X that, it’s misguided and a problem. And it’s all there in the company prospectus.

It’s simply irrational to compare leadership pay scales with clerical pay scales.

You want an executive pay scale? It’s all there for you if you pay your dues.

Yacht fuel isn’t cheap & Robins 29 mil in total comp doesn’t go as far as he thinks it should.

The compensation paid to the leadership team is an absolute joke. For anyone who is unaware public companies are required to disclose the pay for their top 5 employees in a document called a "Proxy Statement". It can be found on the BNY website if you look under Investor Relations. The most recent was just posted. Take a look and see what the top 5 people earned while the overall company struggles with basic needs and long time contributing employees are nickel and dimed or terminated. The games being played with hard working peoples lives while others make $10M, $20M, $30M is obscene. I know this is not unique to BNY but executive compensation overall is a huge problem. The next time you are asked to communicate a 1% raise or a reduction in bonus or even let go of someone think about how these people talking about teamwork, community, the importance of every employee take home millions. The bottom line is they do not care about the every day employee who is doing the hard work and sacrifice. They only care about doing what they need to do to hang on as long as they can in their role and collect every available $ possible. The furthest thing from their minds is your personal well being.

Certainly. That pay is obscene for such a lackluster and unperforming product. There was another opinion thread here a few days ago about worst expenses at BNY. This overall, is a huge one. We simply have too many high paid, overstuffed, no purpose , unnecessary managers here. Paying these people comp deals that approach $10M and more a year. Meanwhile people doing the work get sliced, diced and chopped. It makes no sense. The new chief innovation officer is a lovely person I am sure but is she worth what is the equivalent of 80 working people on the ground? No. And how many of these just like her do we have? How many do we need? If we are in survival mode as RV implies with reductions and cost cutting as well as balanced fee increases, then we really do not need extravagances and people who may have big dreams but no chance of accomplishing. Imagine if lower level people were given tasks and projects with the incentive of getting much biggers bonuses and pay by not having as many of these fancified overpaid Paris Hiltons, King Charles and Zsa Zsa Gabors figure heads flitting all over the place? The problem is our board and RV. This is a very very poorly run company. The stock price hike by cannibalism is going to come to an end soon.
