Yeah appreciation day is a bad joke. Why would you not appreciate people more than a day or a week? Shouldn't you appreciate your workforce if they make you so wealthy? Maybe a pizza party isn't the best way to show appreciation.
Today is employee appreciation day and “today is all about YOU”….but, the communication also literally says (and I’m not joking), we have to wait THREE AND A HALF MONTHS) until June 23rd to “feel the love for a full week.” It’s kind of insulting actually. Would have rather received nothing at all than to be gaslit. With our luck, we would all be terminated before June 23 anyway…strategic cost cutting? I guess the jokes on us.
