Managing the transition

Attempts to make the company more competitive amid the auto industry's transition to EV, in my opinion, are quite a disappointment. I believe that there are very few people who think that Ford is managing the transition well!?

Auto company. NFL football team. Either way, Ford = losing.

Face it...has Ford managed anything well in the last 10 years? The only time we had it together was when Alan Mulally was here. We always claim we are on the leading edge, when we all know it's really the bleeding edge.

It's a super sensitive topic that can only be managed so well because by design...transparency needs to be reduced internally, and distraction or misdirection is necessary to keep blue employees in denial or unaware as long as possible.

Blue is paying all the bills, and essentially holding the door open for its replacement. You can't just be blunt and transparent about a transition like that while that division still pays all the bills. The whole group has the bargaining power to shut things down and force change until e is self sustaining.
