Seriously, if Intel is that bad, why wait until the layoffs to complain and leave? Remember is employment at will, hence Intel does not owe you a job or you are stock with Intel for life.

It's called quite quiting. Anyone with half of a brain never quits.
One basic fact is you don't get unenjoyment insurance if you quit.
Hang on for as long as you can with minimal effort!

I cut my teeth soldering together an Intel 8085-based board a long time ago. I love Intel. Intel as a company/culture are different from what I expected. Intel doesn't seem to want to be great, but I don't want to give up on Intel because a lot of the people are great.
