Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Left in 2015…came back this past June

I took VSP during the first round in 2015…after 19 years. I didn’t really qualify for it, but had recently gotten divorced and needed to move to a different state to be near the kids, so my boss helped me get it.

Fast forward 7 years, I was moving back to a state with a large Intel presence and was asked by a manager friend if I was interested in coming back. They paid me a ton of money to move and things have been going well. I’m getting great feedback and I’m pretty sure the project I’m working on isn’t going anywhere…

So why am I still nervous.

This is the new normal, every few years you have to go through this. It will be chronic anxious state of mind.

OP - Don't be too worried. From what I can see most of the projects folks are working on aren't going anywhere. It's pretty normal, I think.

Good luck though!
