As a long-term advisor on Process Engineering and Project Management issues, it brings me no small comfort to say I'll be retiring shortly.
Willingly, though frankly they've just forced me out.
I'm a giant money-bo-b they'd rather explode than have keep the bulb bright.
I'll have no replacement.
Indeed, they think they won't need one.
More than that, they wouldn't be able to hire anyone with my skills.
Nobody of any intelligence is going to my Old School of Pterodactyl Engineering anymore. A few half-beats apply every year, but nobody donates.
There are no new O&G departments at any school west of Baghdad.
So - what I'm thinking - let me start up my own school for this industry.
We'll hold our classes in the beginning in the great caverns below the Houston Channel where the captured carbon is gonna go.
Plenty of room down there now.
So if you know of any young bright scholar of science looking to join the thriving future of O&G - send them my way.
It's all deductible. The dividends will never end.
