Some people in their posts or comments are saying they were notified and some are saying to expect notification within few weeks? Any managers here or good samaritan employees willing to share inside scoop.. some of us are better off knowing now. Will we know by Thursday this week?

Any position that does not add value to a wafer is open to scrutiny. This is Grovian base / core philosophy, I’m quite sure the current CEO is well ware of this being a disciple of all things Grove.
I don't think manufacturing techs get to be in a redeployment pool......I doubt manufacturing will be hit at all
Mass email tomorrow morning describing what is happening in broad terms. Just so Pat tells the workforce before he tells Wall Street. Wouldn’t expect notifications to ICs until next week at earliest. Which means another week or more of fear uncertainty and doubt.
As a bottom rung manager I have heard nothing, maybe that's a good thing for me (though I wouldn't mind a nice VSP)
the ones affected will be notify by no later than Nov 15.. They will be moved to a redeployment pool under another manager and will be give 2 months to try and find another job. The final day will be January 15.

I heard January is when it is likely to happen. This makes sense as people will at least start 2023 and make it through the holiday season with a regular income. This will also ensure everyone receives their due rewards for the last year.
No rush. It will all happen in the same manner as how Intel delivers technology and products compared to competition.
This company like to torture its employees like dictators do. To be honest with you even if you survive this one there will be few more next year. I mean things are going to get much worse from this point on. It has not even started yet. Sorry for being negative but it's the truth and it always hurts. Hang in there now.
