Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Don't Hate the Player Hate the Game

So much hate and racism on here towards our Indian colleagues. Don't take it out on them, they are just doing their job trying to eke our a living like the rest of us. If you want to blame someone blame our executives for pushing jobs overseas and our elected officials for allowing it to happen.

I can say for a fact there have been several mass scale fraud events from employees in India. Either from falsifying insurance docs, falsifying docs for reimbursement and managers covering it up. They must see it as the cost of doing business. International employees get a slap on the wrist while US based employees get terminated for the same behavior.

Wells hired India for Online Fraud had to fire the entire department after customer info was stolen, then rehired again in India. India should not have access to American bank accounts through employment!

Have you noticed that almost all Indian resumes are highly exaggerated or totally fudged? They put a lot of fake experiences and fake credentials. Even if their degrees are true, those are all low quality online degrees.

That outage over the weekend that knocked out international trading was India’s fault once again. It’s become a joke that every time a change causes a P1 or P2 outage, it was an Indian.

Based on my interactions with Indian developers, they are lazy. They frequenly skip meetings, and even if they come, they leave early. Most of our team members are in California, so we get up very early in the morning to accommodate the Indian developers, and many of them refuse to work after 5pm India time. They also take a lot of fake sick leaves. When we give them assignments, they don't complete it by the agreed deadline. Even if they complete it, their work has too many bugs. Some of them are always argumentative and very difficult to work with. They don't seem to care about anything but themselves. I think it's in their culture.

We should tax Indian export of services into US and use those funds to support American workers. Also any tax breaks take from India government to setup a company in Bangalore or Hyderabad should be matched by a tax in US.

Wells needs to go back and check every credential for India since fraud is rampant. An Indian manager will cover for this person regardless of what is best for the company.
