My work is done! What’s your excuse?
So F What?
Stop fighting over where you live children
Go giants
ET peeps shows away 7 out of 8 hours and doesn’t respond to Teams after 2-3 hours later. BUT so what, if they are getting the job done and is actually making an impact.
@OP sounds to me you are wasting your productivity time by micromanaging other peeps.
12-13 hour days are MO, just to keep up.
CA people also star at 5:30am to accommodate India and entitled east coast individuals. So shut up and move on.
So what?
See now. East Coast. In @7. Start working about 10, 10:30. 11:30 get ready for lunch and head back home. 11:50 lunch at home till about 1:30 or so. Afternoon meeting. Mouse mover and then clock out. I love my job
I am a CA person and I start between 5 and 7:30 AM with meetings. I usually start at home -- difficult to get to the office for a 5 AM meeting as public transport is not running before 5 AM and there is no parking so I cannot drive. I have back to backs until about 1 or 2 pm Pacific Time. Then I dash into the office -- takes about 45 mins to get there -- to fulfill my RTO requirement. Then I work from the office for a few hours and dash home between 4 and 6 to make dinner and attend to family. I often need to log back in at 8 or 9 pm to clear something up so the India team is not stuck on something and losing a day of productivity while I sleep. So, I basically feel like I work all the time, with little control over my schedule, though it adds up to 50 - 60 hour weeks usually. I would not mind working from the office, as we did pre-pandemic, except now I have crazy hours I do not control, no guaranteed quiet place to sit and work when I get to the office, and no one I work with is there.
It takes longer to complete tasks in CT. Stop complaining and get a real degree.
How dare they accomplish twice as much as you working half as long. Who is the slug here?
From my experience, west coast resources are expected to be on 6am calls. If that’s the case they should be able to leave early
And?
I actually start the day later but leave about that time.
Guess @OP hates efficiency.
