Fidelity would really benefit from cutting all managers and starting from scratch. There have always been bad managers, just not this many. Weak managers sunk this ship.

Yup… Scrap all senior managers at HR Enterprise management…..Total waste and useless bunch of old haggards….
My group is trialing an AI bot as our manager.
Many employees (current and past) have expressed concerns about Fidelity's Hiring practices within the HR department that are negatively impacting employees and the organization as a whole. Specifically, I have observed the following issues:
- Lack of Transparency in Promotions - There appears to be a pattern of promotions being granted without cleary criteria or communication, leading to perceptions of favoritism.
- Inconsistent Handling of Complaints Employee grievances are often dismissed or ignored, creating a culture where concerns are not taken seriously unless supported by the manager who favors a select employee.
- Discriminatory Behavior - There have been instances where certain employees feel marginalized or treated unfairly based on race/religion and managerial discretion.
These practices are causing low morale, decreased trust in leadership, and a decline in employee engagement. Senior management (not just based on years of experience at the firm) should investigate these matters and take steps to ensure fair and equitable treatment for all employees. Fidelity will continue to lose highly experienced employees due to toxic work environments , poor HR leadership, and lack of experienced and skilled managers.
Management could easily be replaced by TLs and HR. My manager is so bad that my team has to run most problems through ER.
Who would write all the quarterly checkins? Maybe if they get rid of that then they could cut management.
I was denied a job after a couple of interviews, most likely because I'm white. I had the exact experience they were looking for and prior experience with a competitor.
