I send couple of emails before 8am, a couple after 7pm, tell everyone that I am putting in extra hours. Working hard.

They can, but I don’t believe they are using that data yet. I see AD’s & Directors walking about “collaborating”, going to meetings. It’s not a secretarial pool or widget factory. Folks aren’t all glue to the laptop 8x5 daily.

How are the conversations going when you tell your boss you can’t meet a deadline because you don’t work beyond your minimum hours? Can’t imagine telling my boss that I can’t or won’t investigate a late damage or tech accident because I leave at 4:30.

I hate my life.

When I worked remotely and had the flexibility to do so, I worked my butt off. My PC was on and doing emails before 8AM and after 5PM, call me a fool.... Now, AT&T will not get one minute more outside of business hours. PC off, cell phone phone off.

My boss always schedules calls at 5:00 pm CT. I am in the SE. I take it from my car.

It is so quiet here after 5 pm that I can hear my fa-t.

For most of you nobody ever asked you to work late. That was just shame kicking in after ghosting your day work.

I, for one, think it’s endearing executives see how much down time there is in a day and want to spend it with lil ol us.

Fire the ones not doing at least 8X5. My coworkers are lazy.

8-4 every day not a minute more. Stop working around 3 in office and just sit around waiting on the clock to hit .

When reviewing expanded reports, there has been little to no impact on after hours. Not many employees were working at night. The increase in online presence during primary business hours has more than made up for any loss.

8 and skate. It can wait ✌️

Not to mention the people just sitting around doing nothing in the afternoons waiting on their 8 hrs to tick. Yes they really sc--wed up with the presence monitoring and the 5x mandates.

And that’s ‚work-life balance’. I don’t give a sh..t what is happening here after 4pm. This place can burn to the ground. Have a life dude!!!
