Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

ExxonMobil announced a one off 0% bonus for employees worldwide due to record profits

This is unofficial, but I got it from a reliable source.

Inspired by Total 1 month bonus and by Shell's 8% bonus, the executive committee is considering rewarding all employees worldwide with a bonus equivalent to 0%.

Our performance ranking offers pay differentiation and promotes a true meritocracy.
The company will recognize those deserving credit for these record profits.
That’s why the executives will get massive stock options and deferred compensation, while you all get thiz nutz.

It cannot be double that figure (0 x 2 = 0). Just wanted to clarify that.

We're getting the square root of zero divided by imaginary numbers based off unicorn fa-t volume.

We need variable pay. Base pay now equal to competitor base pay and they get bonus. I can make more investing bonus each year than pension will be worth.

Realistically, if you’re planning on staying, eff a bonus with no additional benefits and structurally add it to my pay. A one time bonus only helps if you’re hoping for a parting gift. After instituting vacation accruals, they don’t really seem to have an appetite for it…but here’s hoping.
