Does anyone see any layoff announcements happening tomorrow for CWA memebers.

You shall be laid off as soon as the company possibly can, which will be soon.

Not a chance of this happening! This is merely wishful thinking being propagated as nothing more than a rumor! Don't believe this nonsense! I wish I had a nickel for every time I read this nonsense on this site!

The OP is in Texas and heard more talk this afternoon about how Dallas just doesn't like the politics of Minnesota.

Layoffs are impossible without a surplus declaration, and this quarter there will be an ESB offer to avoid a surplus.

I hope it’s a bloodbath, but it wont be. The D6 (Southwest) agreement expires next month so probably nothing until after.

"Talk around Dallas C-Suite big announcement tomorrow for Bloomington Minnesota."

Listen kid...the Dallas C-Suite doesn't even know the Bloomington office exists. Clearly you work there and are trying to ruffle feathers and hoping it does come true because you are ready to leave.

I don’t believe this quarter.

But there are rumblings of something large happening before end of year.

With what I have heard about some of the CWA severance payments I would be surprised if they do this now on 2 fronts, craft and mgmt. However if they do reach that debt ratio by the end of the 2nd quarter the 2nd half of the year will be interesting. Know they are offering severance to a few but seems to be small selective offers.

When they cut all the office workers going to have to come for retail stores and CWA next. Just a hunch, but CWA will be coming soon before retail. Most likely the most junior people.
