According to HR and staffing the layoffs, non hiring of US citizens and bringing in more visa workers, laying off US resources and certain ethnic groups only hiring 'their own' (staffing words, not mine) is not discrimination and it is tuff luck as far as IBM is concerned. With the new administration, if you can call it that, backing anti DEI/woke mentality and the courts bought, trying to do anything legal once you get the axe will be a tuff go at best. Document document document. Good luck folks, you are going to need it as IBM carries little weight outside their walls. Big blue ain't agile in the eyes of the rest of world.

Alvind Krabanaugh and the rest of the CheapMunks are Greedy P1gs

No other way to put it. People getting axed with over 20 and many over 30 years and at most 3 months severance while jobs get outsourced to Asia for pennies on the dollar

86 million in stock. Couldn’t hod conscience say how about 20-30 million

I know they’re the C Suite and they get the rewards but still they feed from the troughs while many lose their only source of income

Alvind alluded to all this back in February when he said IBM would do whatever the law dictates and there we have it. My resource consultant told me not to engage with certain ethnic managers as it will be a waste of time. When the big one happens in a week or two we all might be happy as the pasture is still the same, just a little greener outside this fence.

“Discrimination of any kind has absolutely no place at IBM.”
Unless, you're Caucasian or Asian... then of course we openly discriminate against you.

That’s just fluff so that they can get this out of the way so that the media doesn’t pound them for DEI

In the end Alvind Krabanaugh and their DipMunks are All India all the time

Quote from the above mentioned article “IBM has a longstanding commitment to equal opportunity and fostering an inclusive culture,” Minkel said. “Discrimination of any kind has absolutely no place at IBM.”

So what exactly do you call layoffs of US citizens and legal residents and transferring their jobs to India ? And how do you justify the hiring of more H1B via holders from India but not US based Americans. Isn't that discrimination ? How are these activities fostering an inclusive culture at IBM ? where is the equal opportunity for US employees ? Sounds like nothing more than the typical IBM Hypocrisy in practice.

And yet Alvind, Krabanaugh and the Pipmunks receive mega-million dollar bonuses for fostering and accelerating this type of non-inclusive culture at IBM. It is corporate hypocrisy at it's finest. Do as I say, don't do as I do.
