I pray for getting laid off. Reason: things are probably going to get much worse from now on at Intel. No high hopes that everything will be better. Surviving these cuts is just prolonging the agony until the next cuts.

I left in late 2016 after more than 25 years with the company. It was a difficult decision, but one of the factors that helped me decide was the uncertainty of my job. I was a good performer, but when would good not be good enough? Am I glad I worked for Intel? Yes. Am I glad I left? Yes.
