It was wireless, connect and VBG. About 6,000 employees total.
I work in VBG and volunteered, but was not selected. I have 35 plus years here and was told by my Director to be patient and I will get the RIF in January when the reorg takes place. He also said the present RIF was 2% of the employees and the January RIF will be 5% of the employees (these numbers are company wide, not just VBG).
FTMO impacted (10%), CSG heavily impacted I’ve been told (don’t know the %)
It was blood bath in wireline.

Happens nearly every year at this time. Kind of like diabetes when you don't improve your lifestyle. Every year they take another little piece of you to save the whole.
It was across the company. Know of many organizations involved. A sad day.
Who in vcg was affected?
VBG and GNT are the main impacts this time.
How can Han's let this happen? This is gonna ruin it for families at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Talk about a corporation without a heart.
