VBO - Leadership calls this week

@a6+1jp2j118m - can you confirm the leadership calls happened? Any update on timing?

General consensus is no VBO for 2025. Anyone else in the know that can shed some light? At this point. I just want a confirmed answer. Wishful thinking, I know

If you are hanging on hopes of a VBO, you have the option to leave on your own.
It's a free country. Oh wait, it's no longer a free country. Forgot

55+ with 10+ tenure have meetings this week to be "encouraged" to consider retirement. Who knows what that will lead to.

@kd+1jpakbkje, An acquaintance of mine(former employee) said his best friend was on the VBO committee back in the summer and said the main reason was the “cost “ of the last one was “too expensive”, allegedly.
However, my reply was they can make it as expensive as they want.
As a result I retired last month.

I had a conversation with some who is IN THE KNOW.

There was going to be a VBO and they yanked it.

No reasons stated as to why.

But, you have to believe that they didn't want the dedicated older workers that are holding the company together to leave right now.

Older workers are indispensable. The under 40s cry if they have to leave their cocoon and come to work.

@b2+1jpakbkje I feel sorry for you. Who hurt you, your parents? You appear to be an entitled POS! Truth be told, if we were to meet in person you would never say these things you nasty wu$$ie. A pathetic bully hiding behind a keyboard, who is probably an ignorant MAGA mo--n as well. Go use your Fidelity Benefits and get some counseling, you have a lot of miserable years ahead of you if you keep acting, thinking, like you currently do. Your parents must be proud. NOT!

Alot of boomers already took previous VBOs. They were the ones that built the company up thru the decades. Current employees and leadership are tearing it down. Have fun with that.

Just salivating at any mention of leadership meetings/calls. Just get over it already Fidelity doesn’t want to give you anything more than they already have. We’re all playing the worlds smallest violin for each and every boomer in here.

Can almost guarantee I make more than you old head haha. Hope we go 100% rto to really double down your flik diet. Imagine being a boomer and forced to come to work with kids fresh out of college at a campus they designed like a college campus. Clown show for the children of the great generation. You should probably rebalance into stable value to protect your broke self

These children need to grow up, move out of their parents’ basement, and stop yelling about whether the meatloaf is ready. This is not a college campus—it’s a place to work and accomplish great things. Make something of your life.

Thankful for upper management keeping this boomer working. Anyone wanna pitch in for their WFH setup in the 55+ community they got dumped in by their kids?

Sorry, upper management has come to the realization that the children alone cannot sustain the greatness of this company. Therefore, we, the tenured employees, must remain to uphold the greatness of this company and continue collecting our checks.
