Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Make no mistake---they are actively firing RTO non compliers

THIS IS NOT MADE UP.

This should grab the attention of all of you who in various posts over the couple weeks have shared your "special" situation.

"...I don't have to do 5 days in the office"

"...my Boss knows about this and is fine with it..."

"...I go to my assigned location 2 times per week and the office that's closer the other 3 days..."

And people are refusing or seemingly unable to understand that the person you report to cannot not give you that dispensation or a "special" deal, and they cannot protect you whatsoever when you are eventually called on the carpet for non-compliance. They have zero authority or input in any of it.

So beware of your "special" deal that your Boss is "cool" with.

If you want/ need to stick around here, you just need to comply and wait for this nonsense to wane. Which it eventually will. Guaranteed. "When" is the only question.

Things that have to be prefaced by "THIS IS NOT MADE UP" are almost always made up. Post proof or get back to your duties underneath McElfresh's desk. The company shill trolls ore working overtime to spread fear and dissent.

This is total chaos and folks are acting incredibly awful but eventually even very nice people break I guess. I have seen the worst in generally nice people with the office shenanigans and the gymnastics of daily musical chairs. It is just really sad when there is no reason for any of this.

“ She was badging in multiple badges.”

As soon as they show they were putting in 12 hours a day from home they will be forgiven.

I watched security tazer a woman at the Ft Worth office today. She was badging in multiple badges. They said they were going to find the people those badges belonged to and charge them with COBC violations.

"My boss told us we was safe doing 4 hours RTO x 5 days per week. Just as long as we worked the other four hours per day at home. That's what we was told."

Did that sound right to you? Would it have sounded right to any reasonable person?

You know the answer to these questions.

If you have something in writing from your boss that gave you permission to do what you were fired for, assuming it was not illegal, then you have a law suit. If it is only a verbal agreement, you are sc--wed.

" Don’t forget the “My boss said 5-6 hours per day in the office is fine” employees."

100%, from what I have been told by those in the know, this group will be the next target. I was told there will be one written warning for this group. We'll see I guess.
