I am wireline and we just had 17 people in my group let go. Last day 12/30.
Safe? Negative several of my peers have recieved their notices. Calls began at 830am and currently ongoing across markets.
Wireline is safe. They plan on a new project, fill the class 5's. Major marketing effort to put a 1FR in every home. They will use the same effort used when Harry Truman promised a chicken in every pot!
