Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Please, please use caution.

Be very careful about getting into March Madness office pools. Several T employees were setup and subsequently fired for breaking COBC, gambling on company time and in company facilities. Do not fall for this if you value your job at at&t. No warnings will be given.

I spent all day putting my brackets together. Where do I put my money down? Is this legal?

Company likes collaboration. That is why they created hubs. March Madness is prime example how T employees work together.

Fake news. The company encourages participation, it fosters better relations between rank and file.

“Lenox last year. People were fired.”

This is fake.

The company should issue a cautionary statement on this issue. It seems like they want to catch employees, followed up with dismissal.

I guess I’ll ignore the email from the L4 encouraging everyone to sign up for the pool.
