Multiple co-workers were laid off today and apparently were told that ECO is displacing all employees who are compliance specialists (not senior specialists, lead compliance officers, etc.). Anyone have any intel?

Yeah nothing says you plan to cut corners by laying off the staff that keeps you in compliance with government agencies. Clearly this shows they aren't worried about government oversight. Looks like its open season on taking advantage of customers yet again, at least until 2028.
What is ECO for those of us not familiar with every acronym?
