Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Thank you. Easy Layoff

You’re making it too damn easy for the company. There are budget cuts this year, and by not showing up to the office, you’re practically handing them an excuse to fire you. They don’t even have to try.. just check the employee details and bo-m, budget balanced. So go ahead, stay home. Ignore the mandate. Make their job easier.

And for the “coffee badgers” who think swiping in, grabbing a latte, and heading out counts as work… newsflash: It doesn’t. If you’re not putting in your 8 hours, you’re writing your own pink slip.

Layoffs are happening, and if you make yourself an easy target, don’t act surprised when it’s your turn. Show up, or start polishing your LinkedIn profile.

And hey, if you really don’t want to work, at least get fired in style.. maybe go out with a dramatic exit speech, or challenge your boss to a duel in the parking lot. But don’t just hand them the win.

It’s 8-hours. Look for the dark blue. Ask your manager

Actually 6 hours is the requirement now, not 8. But thanks for playing.

Another bullsh-t post. If you let go for supposedly not enough hours, that is not a layoff that’s being fired. This is just some low self worth value individual trying to make themselves feel important by intimidating others.
