Saw this in an another post and it's so true. What is the reason for this?
Perhaps it is just local US bias, and if I was in the UK/AP, I would be perceiving a bunch of US senior managers?

All you need to know is that Americans just think British accents sound smart
They outsourced and offshores their friends and then needed a job themselves.
I’ve had the same observation.
Brits are colonial by nature.
Something in the water maybe.
Ruins the teeth, but ratchets the pomposity.
The problem is actually more insidious than you think. For years, the European cabal had been artificially inflating potential numbers for their “chosen ones” giving them an unfair advantage for advancement and opportunities over employees in the rest of the world. In addition, this same group also gamed the new assessment process by ignoring the “forced pre-ranking” mandate. Their rationale was we have fewer people than NA or AP, so we don’t have to force rank our people because it would be unfair. It got so bad that I know of at least one EMTEC group that had to redo their assessment because of the cheating. Again, this type of unethical behavior would not have been tolerated in years past, but it is now the norm, and the liars are protected by their sponsors who achieved their positions in the same manner. Performance Assessment is just a pyramid scheme now.
Good old boys network. One gets promoted they bring their friends along.
It is the bias in the company for advancing people who are native English speakers. You will see many US born, British or Australian senior managers compared to whole population of the company.
Local bias is a fair explanation, I'm in the UK and I think we have far too many Americans over here! So yeah, we're all biased I think.
