Wells Fargo lays off four local executives, part of business unit shuttering

Three weeks after Wells Fargo & Co. moved to end a division of its local operations, the national bank has also eliminated four executive employees.
In a letter to the state, pursuant to the Federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, the San Francisco-based bank said that four employees were being let go — the lead financial accountant, financial reporting manager, senior business executive consultant and business execution executive.

You can tell who the real executives are pretty easily. Every decision of consequence requires OC level approval. Therefore, they are the only true executives. Everyone else is a manager or an individual contributor.

Many VPs in the banking industry are like junior level managers, and often they don't even have direct reports. Their functional title can be Analyst, which reflects their level more accurately.

They are not executives. If they are, I am Sr. executive, which I am not.

"Executives"

Also hilarious that they say "the" lead financial accountant. There's probably 100 of those
