There’s an entire list of names and ages listed and reasons on the documentation. They seem to have targeted DEI (keeping quiet about it to avoid the news outlets), and tenure employees. There’s only one person that’s 32 and all others are 44 to 72 years of age. So if you currently work for the company, look at your profile, there’s a DEI disclaimer at the bottom if you are a DEI hire. It’s placed there to justify your position and pay even though you have no idea that you’re one. The way my manager lied when doing the displacement he even mentioned diversity and telling me that wells just had to follow procedures and protocols. These are people that spoke their mind professionally in the work place or those that were set to retire. They try to force you to sign paperwork that includes an NDA so that this information doesn’t get out because they’re all about protecting the company and keeping them out of the news.

What is a DEI hire? DEI is (was?) not about hiring unqualified people from protected classes, and the insinuation that anyone but a white male is a DEI hire is insulting to everyone
“The WFC stock price is up 145% over the past 5 years”
Market value is what counts when evaluating leadership. We are up 10-15% total since Charlie came. Compare us to Chase or S&P 500. 12.8% annual for s&p
With all empathy for those that have been treated well at Wells Fargo and stayed 20, 30, or more years, the company's people strategy has changed. Wells Fargo is a well-managed company, and the business will perform better as time goes on with these painful changes. The WFC stock price is up 145% over the past 5 years, and seems to be on a path to continue that climb.
Thanks for your racist remarks. Typical for a cast system rodent! Thanks for your IP address, now I can aggregate it at “The Firm” and have your data and identity for justifiable displacement.
You do realize that offshore will be displaced down the road, except for you. Thanks for outing yourself. Better start looking for a new job now before an investigation is launched and you are barred from the industry. Your days are numbered!
Go back to your shanty!
Everyone who isn't me is actually a DEI hire
Same thing happened to my team when we were let go. The older workers document they provide only had a few people under 50 that were let go at the same time. The rest (and I won't say the number so I don't incriminate myself with the HR trolls here) were over 50.
The DEI hires were doomed from the beginning. Hire based on skill and talent not skin color, sx preference, etc.
If someone started a class action lawsuit against WF for age discrimination, I don't see how it could lose once they do the discovery.
Hindis clean a nice bano!
I honestly read this post a couple of times and don't understand the point. Are they for or against dei? A list of names and ages were posted in layoff materials?
Remember: there's no discrimination here and you're all just snowflakes. Unless the victim is a boomer, then here comes the persecution complex.
Hilarious that in fabricating this bizarre DEI conspiracy OP actually wound up justifying the need for DEI.
lol yeah I'm sure this happened.
And then everyone clapped
looks like a good case for a lawsuit against the company for discriminating older employees.
@OP What department are you referring to with that list of names? This is why I always put "I don't wish to identify" for race/s-xual orientation/gender identity/disability/veteran status and put "Two or more races" for race. It isn't their business to know any of those things.
