Displaced and I need to return my laptop. Are they checking things like cameras, headsets, etc that closely? Equipment being shipped to some location in Maryland and I'm guessing to just be dumped.

Admin? What team still has an admin? Maybe 10 years ago. And of course location strategy / offshoring would have axed them if by some miracle they had survived post COVID.
Was displaced on 2/4, they only wanted my laptop. They send a box. Didn’t ask for my bldg pass or new corp. phone they forced on me in Jan.
I didn’t have to return the monitors.
You should connect with your manager or your team admin, they can get the needed information from you (address, etc.) so that they can request MTD to send you a box to return the laptop. If you have any other peripherals, those should be returned as well (monitors, docking station, etc. They do not care about headsets, keep that.) However, DO NOT return your security fob (if you have one) with the equipment, that needs to be returned to the Security Center in Charlotte. You should cut up/destroy your Corporate card (if you have one). Return your badge to the security desk at your location. You should have an admin for your team that should be taking care of all of this for you, it's part of the offboarding process, not sure why they're not doing so. Just be aware that you don't want to NOT return your laptop, as it can & will be pursued legally since you are in possession of company property.......not worth having a theft charge. Just my 2 cents worth on the equipment situation!
Honestly, they're interested in the data-bearing devices — laptop, badge, any hard token or mobile as applicable.
It does all go to a warehouse which is sad because I once had a laptop & I wish they gave everyone a laptop to be hybrid but now I have a black box. A laptop is so much more handier than a desktop.
Went through this last year. They will send you a box for only the laptop. They don’t care about anything else.
Make sure you hold on to the unencrypted backup drive with the sensitive data. That could come in handy later.
Honestly unless your manager specifically asks headsets stay with you (who wants to wear a used headset right. The laptop is key and the power cord. The screens they wont say but they don’t want those it they wlll send you a box and all else you don’t want you can leave at security if you want. They wont be happy but heck
