If fired/ laid off, is the 9 weeks to find a new job internal/external paid?

"market leading severance package". Put down the crack pipe. You'll be lucky to get 1 week per year of service. Hardly market leading.

re: 'redeployment' the company is in bad shape financially and the country is in a Recession. The spots to land inside the company will be "few and far between" during the timeframe of this "restructuring". Your best bet is to find something externally before things get worse in the economy as some companies are still hiring (for now)

9 weeks in redeployment and if you can't find a job you will get market leading severance package, which includes more paid weeks plus healthcare benifits. It's not just 9 weeks. Plus you can come back when the economy improves.

Yes, it was implied, Imagine all access removed and likely relocated as well as you sort out the options(External vs Internal). Sparse on the details of the package of when you leave outside of health care.
