I was called into a meeting with my 1st thru 4th level and offered the opportunity to retire or be terminated immediately for Code of Business Conduct reasons. I chose to not retire so I was terminated.
I hired a team of attorneys and took the case to court and was awarded attorney and court fees and a few millions.
I am now living the life of Riley on the dividends and interest on the millions that I was awarded and the T filed an appeal.
Unfortunately, the T accused the wrong person with a name very close to mine.
They are claiming an honest mistake was made and they are correct - may be honest - but my life was turned upside down BY AT&T.
Thanks AT&T. Thank You for the biggest blunder and making securing my future.

Thank YOU......

@114+1jqcyyne6

They should have. All of your IDs/access should have been suspended for the duration of your leave. Why anyone would want to access work email, etc. while they're on leave, IDK.

Post from TheLayoff.com

I knew two guys who were fired for this. They don’t play with po-n on company assets.

Asset protection does not show up unless you did some stuff that is not even close to the gray area. Someone saw you put that case of iPhones in your trunk, bro.

There was a guy in NJ told to "retire" or be fired due to watching po-n on the company asset.

“I am sure there is more to the story.”

I can sniff a scam in the making a mile away. The OP is the woe is me “victim” targeted for some reason. The second person, which is the same person, replies “oh im soo sorry about this little tiny mistake, how dare they, I will pray for you.” when they didn’t even know any details or outcome. 🤣 GTFOH. Doesn’t work no more.

OP+1jqcyyne6, congrats on your baby. Remember, you are on unpaid FMLA/Paternity Leave/LOA. Did you try to log into the network? For any type of unpaid LOA, a company will usually shut down/block network and building access during the LOA. After all, you should NOT be working during an unpaid LOA. Don’t think about work, enjoy the time off with your baby.🎈🎉

First of all, congratulations on your baby. I am very sorry about the suspension and not sure what it entails or what it was for? I wish you well and hope it was a mistake as a lot are these days. I am so sorry if this was a mistake. Good luck to you and praying for you.

An unpaid asset protection suspension, in a workplace context, refers to a disciplinary action where an employee is temporarily removed from their job without pay, often for violating workplace rules or company policies, particularly those related to asset protection

Asset Protection Violations: This could include theft, damage, or misuse of company property or assets.
Workplace Conduct Rules: Violations of rules regarding safety, harassment, discrimination, or other workplace standards.
Serious Misconduct: Actions that are considered serious violations of company policy or legal requirements.

Isn’t paternity and stealing on the same day a reflection of our new culture? Isn’t this what Stink and Chicken Legg were striving for all along?

** Maybe if we knew what an unpaid asset protection suspension was… **

To me, it sounds like OP is accused of stealing something, or committing some kind of COBC violation, hence the "asset protection" part

The company is inflating the stock at the costs and lives of the workers. Senior levels are getting rich, stinky surrounds himself with yea people and there are NO LEADERs .. just weak pathetic people with “titles”… managing people out of the business. The company will one day be exposed and crash ..
