My whole department got cut except for one person who relocated to Austin during the RTO push. Apparently that’s the reason they’re exempt but I heard rumors of people getting laid off even after relocating during the RTO push.

Usually RTOed people will be exempt from RA (not PIP) for 1 year after the move. But on Day 366 they go to the top of the list for the next one.
