And Hans always dodging the question saying this was the outcome they expected as a result of the “Administrative and Telco Recovery Charge,” increase from $1.95 to $3.30, which in itself is a made-up fee to scale with inflation. Verizon added this "economic adjustment fee?" Well, where's my "economic adjustment raise?" But that's a $1.35 increase. Yeah, that can definitely add up, but all carriers raise prices eventually. Not just Verizon. AT&T also raised prices from $6 to $12(max) this year as well, yet they still added 708k subscribers? Verizon Business also increased prices with this "economic adjustment fee" because my wife's parents are on a business plan and they were asking me about it. I'm no longer in retail (thank god) so I was unaware of this change.
All in all, I do not believe for a single iota of a second that this $1.35 increase is the sole cause of Verizon losing consumer subscribers. Verizon used to be considered the "Bentley" of wireless providers. Always more expensive but you get luxury. Now, Verizon is rushing to even try to maintain the network. 5G Ultrawide is fantastic, but 5G Nationwide service is the most atrocious thing I've ever experienced since it's inception and it's not gotten any better in any regard. I had 3G speeds better than 5G Nationwide.
Sad..
