How has asset servicing fared this round of cuts?

wow your analysts only make $60K? Our group pays new joiners out of college significantly more than that, plus a signing bonus, plus a year end bonus.
Do you know that $60K is pretty much exactly the average starting salary of a 22 y/o college graduate in the US? If you're complaining about how your group's new analysts are getting paid an average graduate salary, you should look less at them being an issue and more at you own career and earnings progression, and what you can do to improve that. Any analyst at a large company should be able to expect at least an average US starting graduate salary if they're in the back office, and more than the average if they're in the front. I can totally understand wanting at least the same or more than a new joiner, but the issue isn't that they're getting paid that, it's that you are not. Find a way to get more - probably means getting out of back-office processing.
Why is it that I had never heard of Oriskany until after I left the company. Was it really that big of an Operations center?
@q8 - I don't need to ask those questions because the answer is obvious - they want us to quit before they have to pay us severance. Plain and simple.
Also, they sold the Oriskany building years ago and started leasing it after it sold.
@nv+1jqzgbsg3 - breaking news nobody cares. Oriskany isnt the only site closed with staff forced to wfh. The real issue people should be focused on is why they closed sites like this where they own the building only to go lease a building elsewhere. And why are they complaining about people working from home when they created the issue. You all should also be asking why analsyts got hired started at 60k a year then got bonuses after 4 months here none of you got
