We hired 2 new employees in a non growth area within the past 2 months.
Get with the program. Hiring freeze is not new news. Headcount problem.

Last year a friend was offered a job in a new dept. higher grade level. HR actually called their current mgr and set an exit plan. 2 days later, HR called them and did they now don’t have the new job. Apparently HR came back and told the hiring manager they had to hire a recent college graduate. (remember that campaign?). the person had 12 years with the bank and a graduate degree.

Definitely a hiring freeze within TA Pittsburgh, but that's related to the department being outsourced to SPS. Global Payments as a whole may be affected.
