BNY has the audacity to sever positions on like 3.20 for example and then you sign all the paper work when it’s released but not give you severance until, not the next pay period but the following. They need to adjust they severe period the following pay period so people can receive the severance in the following. Issuing the remainder payment of the few days isn’t going to do it for families who depends on paychecks. This sh-t cannot be legal.

File a complaint with a department of labor… If everybody does it, they are going to have to take notice
For those who were laid off on 3.20 and accepted the severance offer, payment is scheduled 4.15. They may have skipped the 3.31 payout since the severance acceptance window was open until 4.8. This information was not communicated clearly in the out-processing material.
