The union also negotiated that nice severance plus an extra bonus I’m going to get soon. Sorry low and mid management the company doesn’t care about you, only the c-suite and above get a compensation package.

“If they are off the clock…”. Not the point. Members can do what they want. Union dues used to publicize support and undoubtedly funding partially is another matter.
