Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Fidelity investment

What is the deal with this investment they put us all in at 1% or whatever a couple years ago. Do we get to cash that out soon or what happens with it at the end of their 3 year rule.m?

@cz, nothing is stopping you from shorting BK if you want to hedge against your 10 shares, lol.

Don’t worry, they take two shares back per year to “pay your taxes”. By the time the shares vest, you won’t have any to worry about.

I assume you mean the BK shares/ restricted stock units from Feb 2023. They are restricted for 3 years. You can sell them starting Feb 2026. Knowing this place they will tank in price right before LOL.
