It's amazing how many lefty CEO's support policies that drive up employee costs in the US then just ship jobs off to places without the policies. But they got street cred at their co-ktail parties for forcing $20 minimum wage and paid menstrual leave in the US.

It is a fair question to ask in Town Halls - what is BNY doing to bring jobs back onshore here in America to support MAGA. If enough people submit the question, probably they will get the message.

There have been bills introduced that address this. They get zero legs though

He’s never once said anything about outsourcing jobs. However, if they were serious about bringing jobs back they would punish companies who outsource jobs. There is zero reason for the Pune location to even exist

Trump is going to look to hit India and china especially on this. It’s why India wants to negotiate terms now. We dont need them as much ad They need us.

How about a 500% tariff tax on the salaries of each employee in India/Poland? That way if they pay one of these employees $25,000/year it would actually cost BNY $150,000/year!

Their incentives & tax breaks should be removed if they are shipping jobs over seas

Companies will always way up what will make them the most profit possible. Trump wants to bring manufacturing back to the United States, nothing to do with offshore BNY employment. Could he provide incentives to hire Americans? Sure, but would those incentives outweigh cost of cheap labor in India? Probably not. It will always cost more to hire Americans.

I do not know when he mentioned about not OUTSOURCING jobs. He stressed to bring back manufacturing back to US soil. Great old Ford era of building cars and appliances - well one wonders whether he can achieve that. May be bring back the Great Depression - which they failed to achieve in 2008 !

How can he enforce a tariff on this ? May be you should suggest a mechanism ?

We need to email/ write to the administration so they’re aware of what’s going on here. Otherwise, for certain nothing will be done
