I'm not so certain that layoffs are done. It feels more like the management needed a day or two to see how things are looking before continuing. In addition, only limited areas were hit this time, and I doubt that is the final goal. I think we'll see more notifications next week.

They may be done for 2022 but to achieve 2-3 billion in savings by 2025, there's more to come you can bet on that.
Verizon will only do layoffs the Thursday of a pay week (I’ve seen Wednesday of a pay week one year) but always on a pay week. The next round will of layoffs will be in February. Probably February 16th but definitely not next week
Definitely no more lay offs this year.
As sure as we will all die someday, there WILL be more RiFs at Verizon/Verizon Wireless.

Oh my. I am thinking Feb is next round for our group. OP&OO was hit in Feb with the major reorg, and then a few in this group hit again in Sept. It’s felt like a rough year and sympathy to those impacted.
